Gradex was outgrowing its project controls solution, HCSS Heavy Job. They found the reporting capabilities lacking, the estimating tools “antiquated,” and the interface “old and stale,” so when they faced a contract renewal at a higher price, Gradex knew it was time to make a change.

"When HCSS got bought out, they really started changing their pricing models, and the amount of money that it cost to maintain HCSS and continue with it just didn't make a lot of sense," says Maynard.
