INEIGHT CASE STUDY:

CCC GROUP

INCONSISTENT PROCESSES, SPREADSHEETS, AND SILOED DATA

Like many general contractors, CCC Group relied heavily on spreadsheets for planning, tracking work, and reporting. With teams spread across the globe, it was difficult to maintain consistency. Project controllers had to juggle tools like Smartsheet, Excel, and disconnected trackers—leading to version control issues, error risk, and inefficiencies.

Ricardo Filho, Director of Project Controls at CCC Group, knew the company needed to change its approach to support expansion into new regions and new industries. Filho works from CCC’s corporate headquarters, overseeing all controls teams and ensuring that they follow the company’s framework, processes, and standards.

As he explains, “We had spreadsheets galore, but we needed to look at things the same way, whether we’re in Suriname, Utah, or Texas—we wanted to create a company-wide controls culture, a more business-aware culture.”

To transform the business, CCC needed a comprehensive project controls solution that could meet its needs from estimating and planning, through project execution and final delivery, so teams could align on plans, metrics, and data.
