INEIGHT CASE STUDY:
TOYO

CUSTOMIZABLE PLATFORM ALIGNS WITH BUSINESS WORKFLOWS
During its evaluation process, TOYO compared five different vendors across several factors, including cost, maintenance, support, and more. Most importantly, TOYO outlined 10 core business workflows for document management and asked each vendor to demonstrate how their platform would handle TOYO’s specific processes.
“InEight was very impressive, and in that meeting, everyone felt ‘this is the system we need’,” Mohta says. “InEight Document is a comprehensive solution and received a very high score based on our evaluation criteria.”
Rather than rolling it out immediately, TOYO first implemented InEight Document as an EDMS solution on a joint-venture project involving three design offices in Japan, India, and Korea. The project teams participated in in-depth training and worked closely with InEight’s implementation team to tailor the platform to TOYO’s workflows.
One of the key reasons TOYO selected InEight Document was its high level of configurability. With InEight Document, TOYO was able to adopt many industry best practices, while also preserving many of its standardized business operations. “The learning curve for users in InEight Document was pretty fast,” Mohta notes, “and there’s been a great deal of improvement when it comes to productivity, especially searchability. The amount of time spent searching for a document has been drastically reduced.”
“InEight Document is a comprehensive solution and received a very high score based on our evaluation criteria. Everyone felt ‘this is the system we need.'”
